Presque 40 years ago , the scientists discovered that the Bunyavirus group ( the name derived from a locality in Africa ) had 88 different virus transmitted by arthropoda and mosquitos ( zanzare ) .
They are able to cause high fever , diffuse myalgia and leucocytosis .
Some undergroups can cause encephalitis .
They were present during the 2° world war .
Branches were in Palermo , Napoli and Genova towns .
Bunyavirus were present in the Mediterranean basin , Cina , Columbia and , of course , Africa .
In so many years some changes in the group sure have happened .
