               About   HAMLET    OF   SHAKESPIRE

Now  , a  llittle   piece   of  a recension  I realized of  books of  Critics  (   Latinist  type  )  of   The  Work  of  SHAKESPEARE , written  by  a not at all latist thinker  ,  like  Me , for  exercise  purpose , more of  50   Years ago .

La  tragedia  e'  soprattutto nelle reazioni dei personaggi alle situazioni assunte come simboli assoluti di usi molto piu' vaste e profonde .

E tutti sanno percio ' che la storia di HAMLET e' quella di un uomo moderno messo di fronte a un grave problema ,  e affascinato , appunto , dalla propria innata svogliatezza e dalla propria impotenza nel risoverlo .

La diffico.ta' non e' nel problema o nell' intuire la natura o la portata .

Per   HAMLET  e' quello di punire un delitto e radrizzare un torto subito.

Ma la vittima di questo e quello non e' soltanto  HAMLET ; la questione in sostanza non investe soltanto una materia privata , e cioe' non e' stata violata soltanto l' integrita' di HAMLET , e' stata violata ,  insieme alla sua ,  quella di tutt' intero il paese .

Il giacobinismo di HAMLET in Chambery , che e' quanto a dire l' attualita' sempre ricorrente del dramma , e' racchiuso in queste due constatazioni : un qualche cosa e' stato violato nell' armonia della natura , l' uomo non e' piu' quello che s' era immaginato di essere una volta .

E insieme a tale schiusa rivelazione si annuncia quest' altra , fino a che rompono in aperta corruzione ; l' uomo che e' nato a subirla , e' nato piu' impotente ad arginarla quanto piu' la conosce , la sperimenta dentro di se' .

Perche'  l' uomo  giacobino  e' piu' intelligente dell'  elisabettiano ; ha lo spirito piu' pronto , piu' aperto e disposto ad accogliere  la conoscenza .

HAMLET  e' piu' intelligente , percio' soffre di piu' , giacche' la rivelazione di una frattura dell' integrita' dell' uomo e della natura viene ad  HAMLET nello stesso momento in cui gli vengono rivelati in tutta la loro terribilita'  i meccanici , lucidi , brillanti e avidi congegni della sua ragione .

E' come se i  tempi , cioe' i rapporti tra l' uomo , la natura e Dio fossero sconnessi .

La tragedia di HAMLET , la nostra tragedia e' rappresentata qui , nel dover  riconoscere il grandioso fallimento di quest' uomo splendido , simile a un dio , che tuttavia ,  non riesce a mettere in sesto i tempi , e cioe' si' con gli uomini , si' con Dio , si' con se stesso .

HAMLET  e' soltanto un personaggio per un dramma piu' vasto , conosciuto e subito , cosi' come da lui , da vari altri personaggi .

Non si puo' dire che HAMLET non intenda la natura del suo problema e che non sappia risolverlo .

Egli non e'  ignorante  e incapace , bensi' cosciente e impotente .

It' s different  to write about  someone or something  starting from what You really think about , and to write about what others   that try to criticize and analize another writer , since the point of View  may differ a lot .

The  great   difference consist in if a person has a illuminist mind or a latinist one .

For Your happiness , only a little piece of  a recension d ' Epoque   I wrote  , is shown , about  thoughts of persons critics of  the  work of  SHAKESPEARE   , since  the whole I wrote is quite long compared to My personal taste and style .

I am sure that can help to understand in which way latinists criticize  persons ,  writings , works and so on  :  as latinists , of course .
